Yuletide Buffet
The 2008 Christmas Potluck lunch was a roaring success! Well over 100 guests attended this festive event that took place on December 2nd, from 12:30PM to 2:00PM at the Richmond Chinese Alliance Church.
When guests entered the theater they were greeted by the society president and his helpers. There was plenty to eat and drink as the many guests and the society had provided a wide variety of dishes and desserts that all enjoyed.
Five guests got up and told their favorite Christmas memories and competed for prizes. A local high school choir took center stage and entertained guests with a medley of old and new favorites. Prizes were awarded for the best Christmas costume. Santa made his annual visit and entertained many in the audience. All guests sported large smiles as many door prizes were awarded. Many of the decorations were raffled off and handed out to the guests. Always There For You also contributed a number of free, two-hour home cleaning packages to many lucky winners.
